ABOUT TEDx NASHVILLE
On Saturday, April 9th, 2011, distinguished leaders in science, art, education, government, entertainment, public policy, healthcare and other areas will present their ideas and experiences to an audience of 1200 smart, hip, connected, and accomplished Middle Tennesseans gathered at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Polk Theater. The goal of the 2nd Annual TEDx Nashville event and the community around it is to create a platform for sharing remarkable ideas, stimulating conversation, connecting thought leaders and creating positive change in our community.
The leadership team of TEDx Nashville is composed of successful entrepreneurs, artists, technologists, communications professionals, philanthropists and PhD’s. Together they’re building an event will inspire our community to engage in innovation for social change and will is also serve as the foundation for a strong, ongoing TEDx presence in Middle Tennessee.
Our target audience is curiously-minded, educated, middle–upper income Middle Tennesseans who are influencers in their fields. Members of the press and a select group of high school student ambassadors will also be invited.
TEDx Nashville is being promoted with a professionally executed PR/Marketing plan using market-wide media relations, social media marketing and post-event follow-up.
